Head Space

An app with guided lessons on mindfulness, breath work, and sleep to reduce stress. They have a discounted rate for students and free trials available before subscribing to their monthly or annual plans. 

Calm App

An app for guided meditations and sleep stories. They have a 7 day free trial and then an annual subscription. 

Free Resources: 

I Am

Tired of endless negative thoughts intruding your mind. Start your day with positive affirmations with the I Am app to help rewire our brains, build self esteem and change negative thought patterns. Free on the app store! 

ThinkUp

An app that builds your self-improvement program to develop the motivation and the positive mindset you need to succeed, using positive affirmations in the most effective way. Free on the app store!

Talk Therapy

Affordable Resources: 

BetterHelp

Affordable, private therapy. Talk with a licensed, professional therapist online. $60-$90/ session. 

Talk Space

Online therapy with a licensed therapist. Plans start at $65 per week, including weekly live sessions and on-going messaging support.

Teen Counseling

Offers private, affordable online counseling when you need it from licensed, board-accredited therapists for $60-$90/ week. 

Free Resources:

The Trevor Project

Provides 24/7 confidential crisis support services from trained counselors focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. 

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (+1-800-950-NAMI)

A toll-free NAMI HelpLine providing free information and support. NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates host support groups, for both those with mental illness and caregivers, so that no one feels alone in their mental health journey. 

LGBTQ+ National Youth Talkline (+1-800-246-7743)

Serves callers up to the age of 25 offering information, support, and local resources.
